BUYER'S RESPONSIBILITIES
Please read and initial each block below. Please note that the Breeder Guarantee is null and void if Buyer does not adhere to the following Buyer's Responsibilities.
__________If, at any future time during the life of your JRL Livestock Guardian puppy/dog, the Buyer is unable to keep the above described puppy/dog, JRL will either take the puppy/dog back or make every effort to help the Buyer re-home the puppy/dog. If the puppy/dog is returned to JRL, all Registration Papers must also be returned to JRL. The puppy/dog is not to be sold, given away, destroyed (euthanasia) or placed in an animal shelter. Exception to euthanasia would be in the case of injury or suffering of the dog. Buyer will be required to sign a Surrender Contract at the time of surrender stating that they are forgoing all rights of ownership to said dog and transferring all rights of ownership back to the Breeder. If you choose to return your puppy/dog, JRL will NOT reimburse the Buyer for the cost of the puppy, any training or other expenses incurred prior to the return of the puppy/dog. Delivery costs for shipping dogs back to JRL are the responsibility of the Buyer. The puppy/dog must have a Veterinary Health Certificate prior to being brought back to JRL.
___________Every effort has been made by the Breeder to produce a litter both physically and mentally sound. Breeder will stand behind this litter of pups to the extent stated below. However, Buyer accepts full responsibility for the proper care of the pup once said pup leaves the Breeder, as the Breeder cannot be held responsible for death, injury, deformity or temperament of the pup due to illness, accident or deviation from adequate care and socialization required for a Giant-Breed (Anatolian Shepherd Dog) puppy.
___________Buyer will assume responsibility for all transportation and shipping costs. Transportation and shipping is at the risk of the Buyer. Buyer releases Breeder of ALL responsibility for the pup at the time the pup leaves the Breeder's care prior to transport. As a Buyer, I understand that it is my choice to have the pup shipped and that I am solely responsible for any problems incurred during shipping or after as a result of shipping.
___________Buyer agrees to have this puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 10 days of receipt and to provide a copy of the results of that visit to the Breeder. If health problems are found, the puppy along with all registration papers may be returned to the Breeder within 14 days of receipt for a full refund or replacement. Breeder's discretion is used to determine the best arrangement. However, if the Buyer elects to keep the puppy after the required veterinary exam, Breeder is not liable for any existing or future medical conditions except as noted under "Breeder Guarantee" below. Breeder is not responsible for any veterinary expenses incurred by the buyer.
___________Buyer agrees to have this puppy/dog's hips and elbows X-rayed between 24-30 months of age and submitted to an Anatolian Shepherd Dog International approved hip-rating agency for evaluation. The Buyer assumes all X-ray costs. If hip or elbow dysplasia is diagnosed, Buyer agrees to sterilize (Spay or Neuter) the afflicted dog.
___________Buyer agrees to remain in contact with the Breeder throughout the lifetime of the dog, and that the Breeder has the right to use and/or exhibit any photos taken of the dog on the Breeder's website.
__________Buyer agrees to license this puppy/dog according to the regulations of their County of Residence.
__________Buyer agrees to honor any spay/neuter clauses specified in this agreement.
___________Nothing in this agreement shall be construed as liability, of any kind, on the Breeder's part if the puppy/dog shall fail in any way to perform it’s intended functions for any reason, nor shall the Breeder be liable for any actions of this puppy/dog.
Failure to adhere to these conditions shall void all Breeder Guarantees, unless other arrangements have been made in writing.
Buyer understands and agrees to the terms as stated above.

BREEDER GUARANTEE
Health Guarantee
Breeder guarantees this puppy to be in good health and free of disease, to have had regular deworming and all shots recommended to age of puppy when picked up, and be started on premium quality dry food upon receipt of Buyer. Breeder guarantees that if a licensed Veterinarian determines, within 10 days of receipt, that the puppy is clinically ill or has died from an injury sustained or illness likely to have been contracted on or before the date of sale and delivery, and NOT due to travel/shipment of said puppy, Buyer may return the dog to the Breeder within 14 days for a full refund or replacement dog of equal value. Breeder's discretion will be used to determine the arrangement.
The puppy is guaranteed to be free of genetic hip defects. The puppy must be fed a Low Protein Diet (23% or less) from the age of 3-4 months to the age of 26 months and restricted from excessive stress on joints as a result of strenuous exercise for the Hip Guarantee to be valid. The dog must be X-Rayed between the age of 24-30 months, and the X-Rays sent to an Anatolian Shepherd Dog International approved hip-rating agency for certification and rating for the hip guarantee to be valid. The Buyer is responsible for paying all costs associated with testing. If the dog is diagnosed with CHD, the dog will be replaced with a new puppy. The defective dog must be returned to the Breeder. If the Breeder allows the Buyer to keep the dog, proof of Neutering/Spaying must be provided prior to replacement. Delivery costs for shipping a replacement puppy and/or returning the defective dog will be paid by the Buyer. The Breeder is not responsible for any expenses related to the raising or training of the dog prior to hip testing or for any veterinary costs.
Quality
Breeder guarantees dogs sold under these conditions will meet the qualifications as best as can be determined by 8 weeks of age. The temperament of an adult dog, however, is a combination of both genetic and environmental factors and cannot be predicted. If the dog is raised with livestock, following the advice of the Breeder and under direct supervision of the Buyer, it should function as a livestock guardian when mature (18-36 months of age). The manner in which the dog is raised directly influences what the dog will protect.
Registration
All Anatolian puppies will be registered with ASDCA and/or AKC. All Anatolian puppies will be registered with the name given to them by Jackson Ranch Livestock, LLC. The Buyer agrees to retain this name and include it on any advertising, breeding or showing documentation or publications. The Buyer may also use a name chosen by themselves, along with the Jackson Ranch Livestock name. The Jackson Ranch Livestock name will be prefixed with the initials JRL and followed by the name given by Jackson Ranch Livestock. Example: JRL Aslan.
THE BREEDER GUARANTEES ARE NULL AND VOID IF:
1. This dog has been used for breeding prior to hip and elbow certification by an Anatolian Shepherd Dog International approved hip-rating agency and copies of the certificates being provided to the Breeder.
2. This dog has been used for breeding if the hip and elbow certification show abnormal hip or elbow results.
3. This dog has been used for breeding before 24 months of age.
