JACKSON RANCH BOER GOATS
Jackson Ranch is excited about building and raising a registered herd of ABGA Colored and Spotted Boer Goats. We are not just breeding for color and spots, but instead selecting Does and Bucks that have genetics, sound conformation and maternal traits to meet the demands of today's market. We have completed the Meat Goat Home Study Course offered by the Penn State Extension College of Agricultural Sciences, and are in the process of completing the Web-Based Training and Certification Program for Meat Goat Producers offered by Langston University Agricultural Research and Extension Programs. After extensive research, we have purchased our First Herd Sire "Big On Style" from Max Boer Goats, and we have raised an exceptional Buck, SEJ1 JACKSON'S GOBLIN SPOTS "Goblin" out of BON JOLI/LAZY S-T SIR SPOTSALOT. We have also obtained some exceptional Does from Max Boer Goats and McGee Farm to incorporate into the Jackson Ranch Herd.
We are a CL, CAE and Johne's Negative truly "Closed" Herd.
Our goats do not leave our farm for any reason (unless sold) to prevent possible exposure and we do not bring any goats into our herd for any reason (i.e. Breeding) to prevent possible exposure.
